On 17th July the IEA hosted a vocational assessor focus group, which consisted of a number of vocational assessors and awarding body representatives, including BTEC, OCR, ABC and City and Guilds. The focus of the day was to comment on the existing IEA Professional Framework and contribute towards the formulation of a vocational specific version, as well as improve the existing vocational version of the IEA Assessor Compendium. Over the coming months the IEA will liaise with key stakeholders to compile the vocational framework that will be launched in early 2008.
