CIEA National Conference 2008

Man and woman talking

Delegates viewed this conference as another resounding success for the CIEA. There were hundreds of delegates gathered at the London Novotel, St. Pancras to hear speakers from across the globe.

The aim of the conference was to provide an umbrella for front-line practitioners through to policy-makers to debate the issues and challenges facing the assessment community

To support that community, the CIEA assembled an international programme of speakers to give their expert views on the challenges that lie ahead for those who make up the assessment community.

What each presenter had to say can be found below. The key note addresses were filmed and these can be watched at leisure by clicking the link. The separate presentations from both key note speakers and seminar presenters can also be viewed, as can a summary document of proceedings, by clicking the links below.

At the Wednesday Gala Dinner, Lord Sutherland received the honour of Companion of the CIEA. Further Companionships were awarded to Graham Soles, Alison Wolf and Eva Baker
