Question Setting
This first Insight looks at question setting and considers the issues around setting:
- Mulitple Choice Questions (MCQs),
- Short Answer Questions (SAQs) and
- Extended Answer Questions (EAQs) or essay type questions.
The Insight looks at the benefits and shortcomings of using each type of question. The insight also examines the purposes of each and how to construct good examples for effective assessment and learning.
