Institute applies for Charitable Status
19 May 2005. The Institute of Educational Assessors (IEA) has applied for charitable status with the Charities Commission, the body responsible for overseeing charities on England
Charitable status will allow the Institute to more fully pursue its remit of improving the quality of assessment by providing support, status and a voice for the assessment community.
It is expected that the Institute will be successful in obtaining charitable status by the autumn of 2005
