MA in Assessment
Educational assessment is something which is constantly in the news. There are issues surrounding the authenticity of coursework, the perceived "dumbing down" of examination content and concerns about the accuracy of examiners' marking of public examinations
The CIEA is delighted to support Bath Spa University in its Continuing Professional Development Programme offering a credit based route to MA or MTeach. Students can exit with a PG Cert, PG Dip or MA/MTeach with 60, 120 or 180 credits respectively, but need to first complete research modules and a dissertation for the final 90 credits if they want to complete the MA or MTeach.
The Professional Master's Programme fees vary according to the academic year and status of the applicant. There are substantial discounts for qualified teachers with DfES QTS, as the PMP is recognized by the TDA as part of its official Postgraduate Professional Development (PPD) funded programme
